Which is better among Xylo and Tata Sumo Grande?

There is similarity in power and performance of Xylo and Tata Sumo grande. Both features 2.2L engine delivering power of 120PS however there is clar betterment in Xylo with Torque output of 280Nm as compared to 250Nm of Sumo Grande. Also Xylo has better interior space as compared to Sumo Grande. The seating arrangement itself makes a larger differences among the two. Tata Sumo Grande also has very good reputation of high reliable performance for long drives. Comparative price range of Xylo is much high as compared to Sumo Grande. To select one among the two, Xylo makes a clear winner.

Mahindra Xylo would be a better option, its engine performance is better and its passenger cabin is much more comfortable than Tata Sumo Grande. Also, Mahindra Xylo is loaded with more number of advanced comfort features including airplane style flat bed seats, charging points, rear defogger and advanced music system. Apart from this, if we talk about the mileage and cheaper maintenance cost Mahindra Xylo is far ahead than Sumo Grande.
If you compare Mahindra Xylo and Tata Sumo Grande, the major aspect that will attract your attention is their respective price tags. Xylo is priced higher than that of Grande. Now as far as the aesthetics of both the cars are concerned, Grande scores over Xylo because Xylo looks a bit clumsier as a SUV. On the other hand, the careful combination of angular edges and rounded corners make Grande really beautiful to look at. However, you will find Xylo better than Grande on the functional side. Just compare the air conditioning system and the rectangular ac vents of Xylo, and you will understand that they are much powerful in comparison to the circular ac vents of Grande. Features like air-conditioning, music system, height adjust and lumbar support at the driver’s seat, and electrically operated mirrors are common for both the cars. In addition to this, the tyre pressure and specifications of Grande are better than that of Xylo because Grande comes with 235/70 R16 tyres whereas Xylo comes with 205/65 R15 tyres.
