Tata Zest petrol features updated petrol engine made more efficient. There is considerable improvement in exterior and interior features as well. For the kind of usage mentioned, It makes an ideal selection. As far as extended warranty is concerned, it is applicable only after warranty period is over and that too for the parts listed in the extended warranty policy. It serves the purpose of reduced repair cost for failure of concerned parts if happens during the period. Its worth the money spent.
Both are fine cars, however, Mahindra Xylo can be a better option as it is available in both BSIII and BSIV certified emission standards. Its BSIV variants cater primarily to metros. This MPV is offered with an alternative of two diesel engines, and comes in five different trims. However, a major update has been given to its suspension system for the enhanced comfort provided to its occupants. The interiors and exteriors both are a fascination in this car. On the other hands, Gold AMG may seem to you a little faded away car when compared with the features of Mahindra Xylo.
Mahindra has upgraded Xylo and makes it more spacious, stylo and comfortable to drive. It comes in number of variants with BSIII and BSIV engine options and manual gearbox. On the other hand, Gold AMC provides you an added benefit of automatic gear transmission option in one of its variant. Better suspension system and exterior designing have made Xylo immensely popular and perfect for Indian roads, Gold AMC seems not as upgraded as Xylo.
