Which is better, Alto CNG or Petrol?

It totally depends on your overall running. If your monthly running is more than 1000kms then you can plan for a CNG vehicle else go for a petrol model.
You would be able to cover up that extra cost which you will pay for CNG vehicle in couple of years only if your average running will be more than thousand kilometers in a month.
Also, with CNG fitted model you have to compromise with the power and acceleration. Also, the resale value of CNG fitted models are usually less than equivalent petrol model.

Being a city commuter Alto 800 don't need so much of power or anything like that, that's why Maruti Suzuki armed this car with a very small engine. As wel all know that CNG affects performance but increases efficiency. Whereas on the other hand petrol mills are costlier to drive. But if you are from a busy city like Delhi then you should definetely go for CNG model.
