Maruti Suzuki Alto STD Description
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 STD is the most basic variant in the Alto 800 range. Talking of the exteriors of the new Alto 800 STD variant Maruti Suzuki offers a centre cap cover. Having said that, the internally adjustable ORVM, body side mouldings are still missing from this variant.
Maruti Suzuki is offering dual-tone interior and vinyl for the Alto STD which gives the cabin an airy feel. However, the audio system, accessory socket, rear parcel tray and centre garnish for integrated audio is missing from the Alto STD variant.
The engine of the new Alto 800 STD is a 796 cc, three-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of developing a peak power of 48PS at 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 69Nm at 3500 RPM. The engine comes mated with a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 STD promises to deliver an impressive fuel economy of 22.05kmpl.
The new Alto 800 STD offers safety features like the driver side airbags for the driver along with ABS and EBD. The additional features comprise headlight levelling, immobiliser, collapsible steering column and tubeless tyres. The reverse parking sensors enhance the car parking efficiency whereas the seat belt reminder and speed alert system collectively ensure for better safety.
When we talk about performance, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 STD can hit its top speed mark of 141 kmph. When it comes to handling, the tubeless tyres offer a better grip on the road to tackle all sorts of terrains.
