Is Maruti Suzuki Baleno good in hilly areas? How will it fare going up the hill with four passengers and luggage?

Driving the Suzuki Baleno in hilly areas should not be a problem as long as you drive it with care. Driving in the hills can be tricky but if you’re careful with your vehicle and treat it right it will still behave very well. Also, since Maruti Baleno is a front wheel drive it is very comfortable in hilly regions but it would be slightly underpowered when it is packed with four people and luggage. In terms of mileage, overall there should be a slight difference. On an average in normal circumstances the car delivers around 20kmpl with its petrol version and around 26kmpl in diesel. On the hills the petrol car should be able to fare a 16-17kmpl whereas the diesel should be able to manage around 22-23kmpl.
