Both of the cars are very good looking but when we talk about interiors Baleno Alpha feels more premium. Aspire has a strong build quality but somehow it just lacks the premium feel that Baleno has. Seats of both the cars offer excellent support and very good outside visibility. Baleno is wider than Aspire hence it offer better space for leg, head and shoulder room thus making it easy for even three people to sit comfortably at the rear. Baleno offers projector headlight, daytime running light with auto headlight reverse camera while Aspire offers halogen headlamps.
Petrol engines of both the cars offer almost similar power and torque figures, Aspire’s engine produce peak power of 87 bhp and peak torque of 112 Nm while Baleno Alpha’s engine produce 83 bhp and 115 Nm respectively but as per user reviews ride quality of Baleno 1.2 is better than Aspire 1.2.
When it comes to diesel the 1.5 liter TDCi engine of Aspire is better performer as it discharges peak power of 99 bhp and peak torque of 215 Nm compare to 74 bhp and 190 Nm of 1.3 liter multijet engine of Baleno. As per user reviews ride quality of Aspire 1.5 is better than Baleno 1.3. Power delivery in Aspire (diesel) is linear with good low end punch and turbo lag is better contained than Baleno 1.3.
When it comes to cost effectiveness, in my opinion both cars are equally good, although the price of Baleno Alpha is little more but it is also offered with comparatively more features.
