Both are different cars, Baleno is a premium hatchback while Tigor is a compact sedan. Looks are subjective, I think both cars are good looking in their respective segments. Dimensionally Baleno is little wider than Tigor. Tigor gets 419 liters of boots pace and Baleno, 339 liters.

Both cars are powered by 1.2 liter petrol engine and there is not much difference between their power outputs, both has almost same power & torque figures. But Baleno’s lighter weight helps it in achieving little better fuel efficiency. The ARAI certified mileage of Baleno 1.2 is 21.4 kmpl while of Tigor 1.2 is 20.3. Though both cars are evenly matched on ride comfort

On the safety front, Baleno Alpha and Tigor XZ both come with same features - 2 airbags (driver & co driver), seat belt warning, ABS and EBD but Baleno Alpha offers some premium features like automatic climate control, tilt & telescopic steering, keyless start, reverse camera, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear wiper, automatic headlamps, daytime running light, touchscreen display etc.

After sales maintenance is where Baleno scores against Tigore because of the wider Maruti Suzuki network and less cost spares.

In my opinion, if price is not an issue, Baleno Alpha would be more suitable for your preference & needs.
