The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is the new hatchback by the company and was launched in 2014. It comes as a replacement for the Maruti's A-star hatchback. It is powered with 1.0-litre K-next petrol engine which can churns out a max power of 67bhp at 600rpm at a peak torque of 90Nm at 3500rpm. Having 3-cyliner motor, the car claims very good fuel efficiency. Being low in weight, the Noise Vibration and Harshness levels are also very low. Handling and cornering of the car are good. It is good option for city drive. Ride quality is very comfortable.
Hi, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio is the country's first car to feature AMT gearbox to makes the rides all more smooth and comfortable. However, here I would disagree with my friend’s opinion on its NVH levels. It is mentioned that the NVH levels are low, however, practically; people have a lot of complaints due to its poor NVH levels. The car creates considerable noise. The acceleration of the car is pretty good as it reaches 0-100kmph in 15 seconds. In terms of mileage also, the Celerio is much better than the other cars in this segment. The company claims ARAI certified fuel economy of 23.1kmpl with AMT gearbox and 22kmpl with a manual one.
