Hello Ramesh Karki ..

It's basically selection between hatchback and sedan. Ciaz has 1.4L petrol engine with power of 88PS 130 Nm. torque.Diesel version has 1.3L engine with 90PS power and 200Nm torque. Ritz also feature same diesel engine. In petrol version it has 1.2L engine with power of 88PS and 114Nm Torque. There's difference of around 3 to 4 lac between respective petrol and diesel variants of Ritz and Ciaz. Sedans always have advantage of separate luggage special with which good lot of luggage can be stored. This make a huge bonus especially if you go for long trips. In short, Ciaz is better among the two.

I believe this question is difficult to answer as I don't know the basis on which your are judges both of these cars. Both Ciaz and Ritz are very good cars and have gained a lot of trust among Indian customers. But i should clarify that both of these cars belong to different segments and have their own pros and cons. There are no specific basis on which these both cars can be judged.

This is noteworthy that Maruti Ritz has been discontinued in the beginning of 2015. Moreover, these two cars are completely different as they belong to two different categories. So, a considerable difference is expected in both the vehicles. Currently, Ciaz is available in both petrol and diesel trims with a price range of Rs. 8.3 to 10.3 Lakh (diesel) and Rs. 7.2 to 9.6 Lakh (petrol). Same as Ritz, but the price range is much low for the hatch. From other points of views too, Ciaz is a better option to go with.
