The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has 11 variants available in the market, both in diesel and petrol. The diesel variant of this car has a fuel economy of 23.13kmpl approximately in the city, which is very good for a fully grown sedan, while it gives around 26.32kmpl in the highways. While the petrol variant which is equipped with a 1.4 litre engine gives a fuel economy of around 19.21kmpl in the city traffic and it gives around 22-23kmpl in the highways. Ciaz has an automatic transmission variant also available in the market, which gives a lesser fuel economy as compared to the manual, it gives around 18.43kmpl in the city.
This all new sedan is available with petrol and diesel engine options. All the petrol variants are equipped with a 1.4-litre, K10B engine that has multi-point fuel injection system. Its manual version can deliver a maximum mileage of 20 Kmpl, while the automatic version can return 19 Kmpl, which is impressive. The diesel version gives a mileage of 20 kmpl in city and 24 kmpl on highways.
Its diesel variants are fitted with a 1.3-litre, DDiS engine that has common rail direct fuel injection system. This engine helps the vehicle to produce a minimum mileage of 19 Kmpl in cities, which goes up to a maximum of 24-25 Kmpl on highways. Whereas its petrol engine gives a mileage of 17 kmpl in cities and reached a top 21 kmpl on highways. The petrol version is blessed with a 1.4 litre engine.
