The Ciaz has not been tested by NCAP as yet. Therfore, cannot be said anything about the safety aspect of the car. However, it does come with airbags and ABS. I would suggest you to go with the Honda City if you are concerned about safety, the last generation received five star rating. The City is marginally less fuel efficient than the Ciaz due to its higher body weight. If you go with the City that comes with airbags and other safety features, it's a safe bet as long as safety is concerned. The car feels very planted and sure footed too on high speeds.

I want to buy Maruti Ciaz but have some apprehension about it like: whether the AC of Ciaz is effective in peak summer if it is fully loaded. Is the engine of this car able to pull fully loaded car on hilly area. Is the ground clearance sufficient enough? What is the average service cost of the diesel variant of Ciaz? Does the engine generate ample power?
