Select City

Is Ciaz a safe car as compared to Honda City in terms of body cage? I have a lot of highway drive where I need to overtake heavy vehicles and drive at an average speed of 90kmph. Planning to book ZXi plus or City VXi. Safety is of utmost importance to me. Also, has Ciaz passes NCAP test in Europe.

The Ciaz has not been tested by NCAP as yet. Therfore, cannot be said anything about the safety aspect of the car. However, it does come with airbags and ABS. I would suggest you to go with the Honda City if you are concerned about safety, the last generation received five star rating. The City is marginally less fuel efficient than the Ciaz due to its higher body weight. If you go with the City that comes with airbags and other safety features, it's a safe bet as long as safety is concerned. The car feels very planted and sure footed too on high speeds.
