I am planning to buy either VXi+ or VDi+ variant of Maruti Ciaz. My average monthly run is 1500 kilometers. Please suggest.

Maruti Ciaz Vxi+ costs Rs. 8.11 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) and delivers 20.73kmpl (ARAI Specified). On the other hand, Maruti Ciaz SHVS VDi+ comes at a price of Rs. 8.81 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi), while returning 28.09kmpl (ARAI Specified). We suggest you to book the Ciaz SHVS VDi+ as it it barely Rs. 80,000 costlier than the VXi+ but is extremely fuel efficient. Moreover, if you reside in Delhi and you have the Ciaz SHVS VDi+, then you are exempted from the Odd-Even scheme. Also, your daily run of 50 kilometers would be quite affordable with the VDi+, given the lower rates of diesel.

I want to buy Maruti Ciaz but have some apprehension about it like: whether the AC of Ciaz is effective in peak summer if it is fully loaded. Is the engine of this car able to pull fully loaded car on hilly area. Is the ground clearance sufficient enough? What is the average service cost of the diesel variant of Ciaz? Does the engine generate ample power?
