1. What are the engine specifications of Maruti Suzuki Eeco?
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is available to the customers in seven variants, 4 with petrol fuel system and 3 with CNG. All of these variants are equipped with an 1196 cc, 4-cylinder, 16 Valve, 1.2 liter robust aluminum engine that can generate a maximum torque of 101 Nm @ 3000 rpm and maximum power output of 54 kW @ 6000 rpm. The engine utilizes a multi-point fuel injection system with a 5 speed rear drive manual transmission.
2. What is the fuel capacity and efficiency of Maruti Suzuki Eeco?
The fuel efficiency of Maruti Suzuki Eeco varies depending on factors like road conditions, traffic conditions, brake utilization, maintenance and servicing of the car. The petrol versions of this car have an average fuel efficiency of 11.8 kmpl on urban roads and 15.1 kmpl on the highways. The CNG versions return a fuel economy of 16 km/kg in the city and 20 km/kg on the highways. The fuel tank capacity of all versions is 40 liters.

Though none of the variants are equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), the existing braking system on the Eeco is well-placed. It has a robust build. Being a people carrier, this model hasn’t been equipped with latest and advanced safety features like airbags, EBD, central locking, traction control, etc.

The comparatively smaller engine of Eeco helps it reach a top speed of 130-140 kmph but is much more stable in the 110-120 kmph range. As for the acceleration, this car clocks in at 15 seconds as it accelerates from standstill to 100 kmph, which is a decent stoppage time for a car in this automobile segment.
12. Can I know the details about the warranty?
Like almost all manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki is offering a 24 month (2 years) warranty or 40,000 km, whichever comes first from the date of delivery on all versions of the Eeco. There is no restriction or limitation for the distance of the warranty and you can avail it anywhere you need. The warranty can also be extended under the company’s “Forever Yours” program by paying a certain extra amount.
