If your car has been in the floods, you should first and foremost call the insurance company and not try to crank up the engine because your claim can be declined. Also, even when the water levels have receded, tow your car to the workshop and not try to start it. The car will be checked for the battery, brakes, radiator motor fan etc. There can be a possibility of short circuits also. The engine could have been damaged as well if water got into the compartment and thus, it can be a case of total loss. Therefore, there are a tonne of reasons as to why your car is not started after being in the flood. Get it proper care and try to save it from damage as much as possible.
