Maruti Suzuki Omni is a functional car not a performer. It can take 8 people with enough luggage across the country but it can’t compete in a sprint event. The 798cc engine is the smallest in the market today and produces just 35bhp of power. If we talk about numbers the acceleration of this small packet is good enough as it can dash to 100kmph in just over 10 seconds and can get to a maximum speed of 126 kmph.
Maruti Suzuki Omni is powered by the 0.8 Liter, 796cc petrol engine. It is the same engine which power Maruti Suzuki Alto and its legendary vehicle Maruti Suzuki 800, it generates 34bhp of maximum power and 59 Nm of maximum torque. It ensures good pick up and acceleration with 0 – 100 kmph speed in just 18 seconds and it can reach upto 124kmph. As the height of the car is more you should not drive it above 80kmph speed as it can go out of control on sharp turns.
The acceleration produced by Omni is good only if kept in the correct gear. The four-speed transmission is a bit rubbery as well. The machine can zoom from naught to 100kmph within a smashing 10 seconds and allows it to climb to a top speed of 126 Kmph. Maruti Suzuki Omni is powered by the 0.8 Liter, 796cc petrol engine. It is the same engine which power Maruti Suzuki Alto and its legendary vehicle Maruti Suzuki 800.
The acceleration of the vehicle depends upon the engine configuration that is 0.8L 34.2bhp 6V In-Line Engine and the weight of the vehicle. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 125 kmph and can go 0 to 100 in just 10-11 seconds. To achieve good pickup gear shifting of the vehicle should at right time.
