I own a 2010 model Maruti Ritz VXi. Can I fit a CNG kit on this car? Also, what is the lifespan of this car in general?

Yes, you can always get a CNG kit fitted to your vehicle from the aftermarket but it is generally not recommended to do so for a vehicle that has already crossed 5 years and your vehicle is 6 years old. A 6 year old car generally begins to face small issues with engines and require a little more maintenance as compared to a new car and with an addition of a CNG kit, things might become a little troublesome for you. However, if you still want to get it done then get advice from an authorised service station and an experienced mechanic who would tell you the pros and cons of getting this done after thoroughly checking the condition of your car.
As for the lifespan of a Maruti petrol engine car; it runs successfully for a minimum 1 lakh kms and after this, the life and performance depends upon how you have maintained your vehicle over this span of time. If one has got regular servicing and maintenance for the car while driven it properly and carefully, a Maruti engine should not cause troubles till at least 1.5 lakh kilometers. After that however it may need a few adjustments here and there but nothing major as such. Hence all one needs to do after buying a Maruti is to maintain it properly by getting it checked and serviced regularly while also driving it with care.
