yogesh acharekar (Guest)'s review on Maruti Suzuki Ritz Vdi ABS
Year of Manufacture : 2009 | Driven no. of Kms. : 165000
- Pros: the ritz vdi abs is an awesome performer, the clutch the suspensions are long lasting & also the weare & tear on the tyres is less. fuel efficiency is very good & the pickup & power is awesome, in any gear once the turbine kicks in between 1800 & 2000 rpm it just surges ahead.the cornering even at speeds of 110 on gradual corners is very good without the car leaving purchase. braking is superb the abs really works well, maintainence is reasonable & it is between 50 paise to 1 rupee epr km depending on the age of your car.it takes the rough roads easily & handles almost like an SUV...its big bang for the bucks.
- Cons: the front is very delicate & if u are parking or even slightly tap into any obstruction by mistake the 1st thing to get damaged is the bumper, bonnet & the turbo intercooler, apart from this if u have an impact on the rear bumer on the bracket gthen the bumper rips. apart from this there is a blind spot in the front which sometimes hinders while climbing ghats however once you realise this you can overcome the blind spot, apart from this there are o disadvantages in the car.
i have used the car extensively to travel the length & breadth of india & have done 165000 kms in 5 years, i have done mumbai to kanyakumari without a single incident, not even a puncture & many other destinations in maharashtra, karnataka & goa, i have travelled on potjoled roads & kacha village roads with ease & the car performs superb
