Which is the better car between the top end Maruti S-Cross and top end Maruti Ciaz in terms of chassis strength and driveability?
By: Mohit on 27 march 2016
The top variant for Ciaz is the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz ZDi+ and for the S-Cross, it is the DDiS Alpha. Ciaz has a 1248cc engine whereas S-Cross has a 1598cc engine. The two cars are vastly different as one is a luxury sedan whereas the other is a compact SUV. Ciaz offers an 89bhp at 4000rpm whereas S-Cross offers 118bhp at 3750rpm. S-Cross is slighter heavier than Ciaz and that does affect its performance a little bit. Both cars are quite confident while driving and they drive well on highways as well as the city. However, both the cars can’t be compared rightfully because they are different in their essence. For highways S-Cross is better and for city, Ciaz is better. Also, with the SUV structure, the chassis of S-Cross is stronger.
