vyascb's review on Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 2017 1.6L Delta
Year of Manufacture : 2015 | Driven no. of Kms. : 780
- Pros: Spacious, Safe, good build quality, very good drivability, excellent suspension, power, sturdy on highway, ingress egress is decent
- Cons: Average looks, less choice of colors, retro fitment of spare parts like projecter head lamps, infotainment system is not possible. Poor experience at Nexa sales showroom, however services at workshop is good. Poor front headlights.
I have bought 2015 model of Scross 1.6 Delta. I have covered 780 kms in 8 days in Mumbai/ Mumbai outskirts. Fuel Economy on Highway - 22kmpl and in City bumper to bumper traffic it's 16.5kmpl. The car is very good on highways and it's very easier to over take and change lanes. It's a perfect car for highways, its addictive. I have not gone above 110km/hr till now. In city you can feel clutch is little hard, but you can adapt it soon in few days. Even it can handle big pot holes and easily get over the speed breakers in 2nd gear. While driving on slope you can feel turbo lag and have to shift down the gears immediately but that's the character of diesel turbo engines. The front headlights are ineffective at night, even my Tata Nano have better head lights. I would change the lights during first service. Overall, I would rate 4 out of 5 on safety, handling and drivability which is of prime importance to me.
