Biswajit Patra's review on Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 1.3L Delta
Year of Manufacture : 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 300
- Pros: Space, Interior look and feel, Size, Tried and Tested DDis engine 1.3L, Maruti Tag, Rear passenger seat, Strong build quality
- Cons: Still little overpriced after the discounts, Ground Clearance(expected at least 190mm as compared to its competitor), Exterior Design(Could have been better), No Rear AC vents
After owning a Nano Twist for close to two years, my desire for driving a bigger vehicle has raised considerably. Selected S-Cross after all the research and comparison. Also found out that it is quite an underrated car. I have driven close to 300 kms and mentioned below is my experience with S-Cross Delta 1.3:- Suspension: It is on the stiffer side. However, in high speed, it absorbs all the potholes with ease. Body roll is not evident. Steering: It is responsive however, it could have been better if compared with Ford Ecosport. Comfort: Very comfortable for the driver and passenger in the rear seat. Impressive leg room and under-thigh support which is missing in some of the competitors. Transmission: Turbo lag is present till 1800rpm. Once above the 1800 mark, the beast unleashes. Tires: As per my personal experience, it needs to be changed. It doesn't give you the confidence while cornering or in sudden stopping.
