Hey S.K.Rai !!
In terms of high speed performance Maruti Suzuki claims a top speed of 160km/h, and the petrol variant can go 0-100kmph in just 12.8 seconds, while the diesel Dzire would take 14.8 sec. So the tyres of this car is very much capable of performing on high speeds. Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire has the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine which generates maximum power of 85PS at 6000rpm and torque of 113Nm at 4600rpm. Whereas its 1.3-litre FIAT sourced Diesel engine generates 75PS of maximum power at 4000rpm and 190NM of torque at 2000rpm. Overall a good performance car by Maruti Suzuki.
Both its petrol and diesel variants have been mated with a five speed manual transmission gearbox as standard, while the automatic gearbox is given as optional for petrol variants only. These engines allow the vehicle to reach a top speed in the range of 160 to 165 Kmph. Its petrol variants takes about 12.6 seconds to break the 100 Kmph speed mark from a standstill, while its diesel versions require about 14.85 seconds. The tyres are well made, and can easily handle the excess heat built up when it is travelling at high speed in summer.
