Should I go for the Swift Dzire or Swift. Also should I pick the diesel or petrol.

Considering an average run of 1700kms per month, your car would do roughly about 21,000 kms in a year. You can safely go for the diesel or even petrol if you can bear the running costs ( diesel would definitely prove more economical though). Go for the Swift Dzire if you need more luggage carrying capacity and do not see parking a bigger car as an issue. Swift might make a better choice if you do not need much luggage carrying capacity. Features like ABS and airbags are present on the highest variants ZXi (petrol) and ZDi (diesel)

Yes, you can go for Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire without any second thought. The vehicle has already proven its performance on the Indian road in last decade. You can go for the diesel variant of Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, its power, pick-up, mileage and overall performance is excellent. Also, the maintenance cost of Maruti cars are usually lesser than other brands and its resale value is great.
