Hello Sir, I am from Mumbai. I bought 2016 Maruti Swift VXi on 25th of Feb 2016. It just had its first service. The folks at service station didn't change the oil, instead they just washed the car and gave it back to me. I said them to adjust the clutch setting. They did, but I am still facing problem while shifting gear from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Again, I visited the service centre but they said that it's a common issue with all new car buyers. A clutch should become free after 10000 kms, isn't it? True? Please give me a solution what should I do? How to do setting or adjust the clutch? Please help me, Sir.

First of all, we would suggest you to get your Maruti Swift properly serviced, including all the liquids and filters. Swift has a self-adjusting clutch; so there shouldn't be an issue. You might be talking about pedal force, it would get fixed if you get the car properly serviced. Even after that, the problem occurs, then adjust the pedal spring load.
