DDiS are dual digital ignition system engines that were brought in to improve the competitiveness of Maruti in the diesel segment and it sure did. It follows the Common Rail Injection Mechanism and either uses fixed geometry or a variable geometry turbocharger. The final component of the DDiS technology engines is the intercooler.
