Why cabin of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Stingray becomes noisy at high speed?
By: Dinesh on 11 june 2015
The Noisy cabin may be because of the poor maintenance of the engine and also due to bad quality of tyres, the sound of the tyres is transferred inside the cabin, if the tyre does not have a good grip on the road. And also the engine oil should be of good quality, so that the life of the engine is good for years. And another reason, may be because of the air entering the cabin, when driving at higher speeds, if the air enters the cabin, the cabin becomes very much noisy. Another reason may be if the wheel alignments of the tyres are not good enough.

The cabin noise of Wagon R Stingray is mainly due to the engine, which sometimes starts to function inefficiently, if the level of engine oil fall below the critical level. The noise insulation inside the cabin is also not up to the mark. The noise situation can deteriorate if the wheel alignment is not proper. You should also check the AC, to see if it is also contributing to the cabin noise or not.

Why is Maruti not popularising the WagonR Stingray? I own this vehicle and can vouch for it but I have never seen an ad or even a poster in the dealerships for this vehicle. In fact Maruti sales executives discourage one to buy a Stingray. Why is that so?
I have been informed by my friends that Maruti has stalled the production of Wagon R Stingray. Also, I haven't seen any advertisement of the Stingray in recent times. Can you please confirm if it is true?
