As per my knowledge you would need to pay about 1/3rd or about 20% the price of the car as downpayment. In some cases it is even less that that. Zero downpayment is however something unheard of.

Why is Maruti not popularising the WagonR Stingray? I own this vehicle and can vouch for it but I have never seen an ad or even a poster in the dealerships for this vehicle. In fact Maruti sales executives discourage one to buy a Stingray. Why is that so?
I have been informed by my friends that Maruti has stalled the production of Wagon R Stingray. Also, I haven't seen any advertisement of the Stingray in recent times. Can you please confirm if it is true?
