Shyambenu Basu (Guest)'s review on Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Duo
Year of Manufacture : 2006 | Driven no. of Kms. : 69367
- Pros: Good cabin space, comfortable seats and suspension, powerful engine which has enough zip, low on maintenance cost. Tallboy design is helpful for tall people to drive the car. Overall great value for money and above all, great resale value.
- Cons: No particular disadvantage. The only one that I can think of is that the rear seat may not be good for tall people.
I bought my Wagon R LPG Duo in Kolkata in September 2006. On October,31 2014, I have exchanged this car with another Maruti car. I got an excellent exchange value even after 7 years. Memories of my Wagon R is still etched vividly in my mind. The car which I gave away looked as good as a new one with few scratches and dents even after running 70,000 Kms on a busy Kolkata roads and also going for long weekend drives with family. The biggest advantage is driving comfort, all round visibility, maneuverability of the car. For a tall person like me, getting behind the wheel was never a problem. Maintenance cost was very low and the LPG mode gave me the added advantage of fuel cost savings. Though I had to change the car since my children had grown up and needed a larger car, I still feel that Maruti Wagon R is the best for comfort, reliability and economy. With a slightly powerful engine, it fits in the right segment and gives the car additional zip. Many more proud owners will still say the same.
