- Pros: Fabulous performance and sporty handling, mixed with limo space in the back. The luxurious cabin completes the picture.
- Cons: It’s expensive and maybe too sporty and unrefined if you want to spend most of the time in the back. Some cabin details don’t match up to the price, either.
So far we’ve solely tried the twin-turbo V8 and it’s a mighty fine engine. It’s each versatile and free-revving. Floor the throttle and it feels faster than just about the other luxury saloon. The eight-speed shell is great at any speed, too. lightness is spectacular for a two-tonne saloon. therefore is that the steering exactitude and therefore the Quattroporte’s ability to string down tight, slender roads. Our one concern is over the ride quality. Even with the automotive in its comfort setting, lots of thumps notice their method into the cabin the least bit speeds. The V8 engine is fantastically polished – perhaps even too quiet if you're drawn to old-school Maseratis and Mercedes AMGs. However, you'll build it fizz and pop on downchanges, if you choose ‘sport’ mode and keep right the rev-limiter. different noises area unit unbroken well under control, except for some wind rush round the mirrors at high thruway speeds.
