Mercedes’ popular model, C-Class received a facelift in September 2018, after a gap of four years from the time of launch of the current gen model in 2014. Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2018 is currently offered only with a diesel engine in the country. That said, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class variants include three grades - C 220 d Prime, C220 d Progressive and C 300 d AMG Line. According to the company claims, it is the biggest update in the history of C-class as it gets 6,500 new components. With a plethora of tweaks to the model, Mercedes-Benz C-Class price in India sees a slight change over the pre-facelift version.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class exterior gets give a vast difference in the aesthetics of pre-facelift and the newly-launched versions. Most of the changes are made to the front as it sports a diamond-studded grille, borrowed from A-Class. Other bits like LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights and restyled front bumper round up the changes received at the front end. Move to the side and you will notice new alloy wheels and subtly-changed ORVMs. It also gets a new set of tail lamps. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class colour options include multiple shades and can now be had in a new silver colour.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class specifications include a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which makes power in two tunes - 241 bhp and 192 bhp. The 241 bhp version powers the C 300 d variant and offers a top torque of 500 Nm. It attains 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The 220 d trim gets a 192 bhp, 2.0-litre engine, which generates 400 Nm of torque and achieves the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 6.9 seconds. Both engines come with a nine-speed torque converter automatic unit backed by a rear wheel drivetrain.
