Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 Description
The Mercedes G-Class, which was originally created for the military around 35 years ago, is - Traditionally known as the G-WAGEN, and is famous for its tank- like built and old- school classic looks. -Mercedes-Benz decided to launch a louder roaring and more muscular version of the G63 AMG, called the AMG G63 Edition 463, the number 463 is used by Mercedes for the G-Class for internal purposes. The Edition 463 is known to have a perfect blend of performance and adventure, giving the driver a feeling of ruling the roads.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 ExteriorThe exterior of the Edition 463 is similar to the design of the G63 AMG, -with the that box- shaped framed and the spare wheel resting on the sideways- opening trunk door of the car. It also comes with those retro- looking round headlamps and better- looking 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels. Overall, the look of the car remains the same as the G63 AMG but with some fancy touchups.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 InteriorOne gets to see typical Mercedes interiors inside the Edition 463, with the 7- inch LCD screen popped up in the middle and the inside of the car wrapped in dual- tone colours with a carbon fiber trim. The seats have premium diamond- cut pattern leather, which is very comforting for those long trips. The cabin of the car makes the driver feel quite hugged in and congenial.- Some other features on the interior that would create a good impression are the striking instrument cluster, the leather- wrapped gear lever and the dual tone on the steering that one can’t miss.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 Engine & TransmissionThe Edition 463 comes with a 5.5L V8 BI-TURBO engine popping out 563 ponies, that’s around 27 HP more than the standard G63 along with 760NM of torque, which is further supported by a 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox-with different driving modes to choose from.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 MileageWhen one is buying a car with such astonishing torque and horsepower figures, a mileage of 8.4kmpl on the highway and around 5.9kKmpl in the city is very impressive.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 Braking and SafetyAll four brakes on the Eedition 463 are ventilated disc brakes with an option to upgrade to the more powerful carbon ceramics discs. Safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, brake-assist, 8 airbags and dry brake. All these safety systems come as standard,- so there is very less to worry about. Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 Performance and HandlingThe 0-100 speed acceleration timing of 5.4 seconds can make a person skip a heartbeat. , although the beast SUV holds an AMG badge, it might not be as good in the corners as its other siblings. One can expect extraordinary off-road capabilities, as they say, “The only place where the G-Class can’t go is, where you don’t wanna be.”. The top speed has been electronically limited to 210kmph, but the run to that top speed can drop jaws.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Edition 463 VerdictTo end with, the Mercedes AMG G63 Edition 463 is a luxury and pointless beast with prodigious on-road and off-road performance, but when it comes to cars like these, who wants to see a point!. It’s all about the numbers on the dash and fast- flowing adrenaline.
