Mercedes-Benz GLB Preview

Positioned between GLC and the GLA with respect to size, the upcoming Mercedez Benz GLB 2020 will focus on those who have a good taste for off-roading capabilities. The car has already been spied for a few months now, sporting a curly camouflage.
The front fascia will be influenced by square-shaped headlights, a bluff nose and a rectangularly shaped grille. The proportions of the GLB will be held in an upright stance, and the daylight opening area located on the sides will have an up-kick beneath the quarter glass at the rear end. The metal sheet surface will be presented with some organic curves. Talking of the rear exterior profile, Mercedez Benz GLB 2020 features, like the horizontal LED tail light cluster and the design, will be a compilation of several BMW cars. Talking of the cabin of the upcoming GLB which, will closely resemble the A-Class, it will host a blend of modern era luxurious ambience and supreme technology. Moreover, the console-based trackpad, triple-turbine air vents and three-spoke multifunction steering wheel will be evident. The massive twin-screen MBUX infotainment setup measuring 10.25 inches will be packed with several other displays, AR satellite navigation and customizable features. The upcoming Mercedez Benz GLB 2020 will be placed on the AWD MFA2 (Modular Front Architecture) platform. The starting range (w.r.t European markets) will be a 1.4-L turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-L turbo diesel, which will generate a max power of 114 bhp. There will also be a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, which will produce a max power of 190 bhp and a peak torque of 299 Nm. A fully electric EQB and a plug-in hybrid variant will be offered as well. Those who want more power, the AMG will be offered with a turbocharged 2.0-L inspired by the Mercedes-AMG A35. This engine will be capable enough to generate a max power of 302 bhp and transfer power to all the wheels by a 7-speed dual-clutch AMT. The upcoming Mercedez Benz GLB 2020 will rival against the likes of Jaguar E-Pace, Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q3, BMW X1, Volvo XC40, Lexus UX and Cadillac XT4.
