The 1.2-litre, 1198cc, Dual Over Head Cam Shaft (DOHC) based Petrol engine under the hood of Nissan Micra Active has the capacity to generate about 66.64bhp of maximum power at 5000rpm and 104Nm of peak torque output at 4000rpm which is quite powerful for a hatchback.
Its powerful petrol mill is equipped with three cylinders, which further have a total of twelve valves. This is coordinated with a dual overhead camshaft based valve system.
