Hello Dr. Ashish !!
Ground clearance problems comes up while driving on road humps and uneven roads and spoilt roads such as one comes across during rainy seasons and roads under repair and so on. It does affect the enthusiasm of a driver while speeding. Especially in village roads where the road humps are built without proper planning, it could be really difficult to drive safely. The ground clearance of Micra is just manageable. Bit extra care while driving on road humps would help for safe passing withouot underbody damages.
In India, there is a dearth of high quality roads. Many of the roads are uneven and many of them are dug up. These said roads also get flooded during the monsoon season. To negotiate through these roads a car needs good ground clearance to travel without getting any undercarriage damages. Nissan Micra Active comes with a 154mm ground clearance, which though good, could have been improved upon by the company.
Nissan Micra Active comes with a ground clearance of 154mm, which is surely a little less than other hatchbacks available in the Indian car arena. This ground clearance will work smoothly on city roads; however, it may create issues while taken to the countryside and during monsoon when roads get buried under water and it becomes a mammoth task to remunerate for the driver. However, if you still not happy with Active’s GC, you get for other options like Hyundai i10, Swift and Figo that amazing ground clearance.
