How is the costing and maintenance of Nissan micra Active?

With the top-end trim of Nissan Micra Active priced at just ?5.1lacs, it is one of the cheapest feature rich cars in the country. Since it is based on the older pre-facelift version of Nissan micra it is being sold cheap. But with the fuel economy on a slightly lower side; 19kmpl and no diesel version, it can be an unsatisfactory product for the owner. But on the other hand the car requires very low maintenance so it goes neutral.
Nissan Micra Active is available in only three petrol trims including its XL, XV and XV S variants fall in the range of Rs 4.5 to 5.0 Lakh. However, to maintain this car the buyers do not have to get their wallets drilled as this car offers a decent mileage of 16.24kmpl in city and 19.49kmpl on long revs. It is attached with good quality tubeless tyres with a size of 165/70 R14. These tyres last long, especially when drive on smooth roads but they enjoy a shorter life when driven on rough roads.
Nissan Micra Active locks it horns with cars like Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i10, Maruti Celerio etc, and you can have you pick amongst these. However, in terms of mileage, Celerio wins the heart by delivering 20kmpl which is highest among these. The automatic transmission system surely caters to achieve a better fuel-economy always. Only Beat has a 1.2L engine, which is much better in terms of dishing out a healthy power of 76.87bhp. The turning radius of 4.85 meters of this hatch too makes the cornering smooth.
