I have decided to buy Nissan Micra Active SV but concerned about its performance, service cost and brand value. Is there any alternative to this car?

Nissan Micra Active is known for its reliability and user friendliness. Although it looks small but there is a good sense of space inside the cabin. It is a good hatchback for city commuting.
Powering the Micra Active is a 1.2-litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine mated to 5 speed manual transmission gears producing 67 bhp of peak power at 4000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. Engine has good power to weight ratio and is quick off the line. Power delivery is linear and throttle response is good. As per user reviews it delivers a mileage of 11-12 kmpl in city driving conditions and 17-18 kmpl on highway.
But it gets neither ABS nor airbags as standard, only XV Safety variant comes with driver & front passenger airbags, anti lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist. NVH could have been better as a lot of wind noise is audible inside the cabin at high speeds. Suspension setup is good but it gets a little bouncy on bad roads. After sale service and spare parts cost is quite affordable.
Other cars you can consider are Hyundai i10, Ford Figo, Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Suzuki Celerio etc.

There is a provision for two reverse lights in Nissan Micra so why is it that there is only one provided in my car that I bought in July 2016? Also, why wasn’t this odd feature told to me when I was buying this car?
