The Nissan X-trail 2016 would be making its debut again at the Delhi AutoExpo 2016, the new car was showcased at the Geneva motor show in the year 2013. The SUV was discontinued in the year 2014 last time following low sales volume. The car uses CMF (Common Module Family) architecture that has been developed along with Renault. The sleeker looks of the SUV has been inspired from the family of SUVs that include the Pathfinder, Juke, Murano, Qashqai, etc. There are no covers on the Nissan X-Trail images and the car would be a strict five seater. It would be benefitted from the FAME India scheme and offer significant benefits to the customers and offer about 400 litres of boot space. A full-wheel drive system and features like active ride height would impart the car its needed credentials making it worthy of SUV tag. Some other technologies that might be present in the car emergency braking system and intelligent park assist. Nissan X-Trail features what the company calls Nissan Connect would most likely be present and would offer latest generation of Navigation coupled with information and entertainment system with capability for smart phone apps mirroring on the screen and other features like voice control, email and SMS readout etc. Since the car would most likely be a CBU unit, Nissan X-Trail interiors and other design features would be significantly be the same. The V-motion grille is flanked by stylish looking headlamps that come integrated with DRLs. The Nissan X-Trail will get stylish look along with a rugged, bold and muscular appearance. The company engineers have emphasized on making it the most aerodynamic SUV with a drag coefficient as less as possible. As far as the front fascia is concerned, there is a signature radiator grille with V-shaped chrome strip flanked by sleek headlamps on either side. On the side profile there is flared wheel arches along with the neat looking alloy wheels. The body cladding runs across the length of the car give it a butch feel. The premium upholstery that Nissan has always given its vehicles is present in the cabin of the X-trail. It is expected to come with an Active ride Control mechanism which auto adjusts the suspension setup according to the terrain it’s driven on.

What do we think about Nissan X-Trail Hybrid?

Nissan X-trail colors should include Black, White, Silver, Dark Blue, Dark Oilve, Gray and Orange as they are available in other worldwide markets while Nissan X-trail variants would be very limited considering the engine sizes that would be on offer.
The car would be most certainly be launched at the Delhi AutoExpo 2016 that starts in February.
