Porsche Cayman is available in different trims. Porsche is packing all these trims with a 6-speed manual and a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission gearbox option. The choice of the type of gearbox determines the acceleration of this vehicle. The 2.7-litre engine with manual gearbox can breach the 100 Kmph mark in just 5.7 seconds, whereas its automatic version does it in just 4.7 seconds. The car can reach a maximum speed of 270Kmph. However, the mid and top end variants of this model can achieve a top speed of 283 Kmph while can accelerate from 0 to 100Kmph in just 4.7 seconds.

The cayman is having a ultimate 3.5L engine which is capable of generating 345 PS power and 340 Nm torque, The vehicle takes 7 seconds to reach a speed of 100 KMPH from zero and it can go up to a maximum incredible speed of 282 KMPH. According to the price of the vehicle it should be having a 5.0L engine, but the engine it have is also one of the powerful engines in the segment. The car is a beauty queen.

The Porsche Cayman is an incredible and blunt beauty with a capability of generating a great power. I am satisfied and agree with the above statement regarding the power and acceleration capability of the new Porsche Cayman. The car can generate a great amount of power which enables it to reach the speed of 0-100 KMPH in 4.7 seconds only but its been said on website and several places like it takes 7 second to reach a speed of 100.
