Hey Vijay Bagga !!
The new Renault duster is packed with many safety features, the renault engineers have provided a 8 way adjustable driver seat means fatigue will be kept away. which helps to stay confident, as the high seating position offers a better view of the road. Coming to the interiors we have dual airbags which ensures the safety of the passengers as well, it has a engine immobiliser, which is a electronic security device fitted to an automobile that prevents the engine from running unless the correct key (or other token) is present, central locking, engine protective underguard, power steering and much more are also present in this car. But please be noted that all of these features are not present in all of the varients, the top varient have all the varients whereas on the otherhand the base varient have the least.
The Renault duster has been a part of the crash test and a lot of different portals on automobiles has performed the crash test over it. First-ever SUV, the Duster, only scored a 3-star rating in the latest Euro NCAP crash tests conducted in Europe, which means it has not enough numbers on the safety side. The Renault duster is having good safety installed inside but overall rating makes it down.
I am agreeing with the ab0ove statement and want to acknowledge that several crash test has been performed on this SUV. The car has been made too light and having a very less ground clearance so it has scored very less points on crash test. The EBS ( Electronic brake force distribution) is not available in this SUV which makes it a unsafe SUV.
As per the European safety institute the Duster is said to be reacting well to the front crash test which says the passenger compartment remained stable. However, the trunk lid got opened during the crash test, while protect of the chest for both front passengers was marginal. Furthermore, some parts of the dashboard could cause injuries. During the side impact the duster is said to reacting badly.
