- Cons: I would like to mention that I purchased RENAULT DUSTER RXZ 110 PS AMT (DIESEL), bearing registration of which is PB10 FT 3390, E.No.E011408, Ch.No.MEEHSRCFKG5001311 from Padam Motors, G.T.Road, Ludhiana on 20th May, 2016 in the name of my wife - Mrs.Rita Rana. Earlier I was driving Hyundai i20 Asta and I replaced it with Renault Duster just in less than 4 years. My observations on some of the applications / features in the said vehicle are as under: 1. Features on display and music system take about 25 seconds to start after switching on the ignition 2. Fan gets ON only after the vehicle is started. 3. While putting the reverse gear camera signal on the screen appears after about 5-6 seconds whereas the vehicle immediately moves on even without wasting a second 4. While putting the forward gear from reverse gear, it takes about 10-12 seconds to get the camera signal disappear from the screen In view of above, it seems that Renault has not updated the vehicle with the latest technology and it looks like classical type as compare to my earlier i20 and other brand vehicles. Matter was brought to the notice of customer care of Renault, for which they provided me complaint ID : 4-0203 7658. Inspite of my various reminders (say about 20 reminders) and physical check-up by the technician of Renault, Chennai, no solution has been provided to me so far. According to them, this timing is normal. From the correspondence exchanged with Renault at their customer care and the agency, I could understand that they don't want to take customer's review in a positive way. Instead of checking the problems thoroughly and provide a solution and improve their vehicle, they are trying to convince me that it's very normal. Earlier, I have driven, Maruti and Hyundai vehicle but never seen such POOR / SLOW processing system in any of the features of the vehicles.
Volume MUTE switch and song shift switch are necessarily required in the vehicle. I am feeling very inconvenient in absence of said facilities. Also, phone pick-up / disconnect, volume up and down features, as provided in the vehicle, are not convenient to operate because these are under the steering wheel. Keeping in view the problems being faced by me because of poor and slow processing system and the absence of above mentioned key features, I would like to advise those who are planning to buy this vehicle, must check it thoroughly according to my reviews.
