Dr Harish A's review on Renault Duster 110 PS RXZ AMT
Year of Manufacture : 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 1200
- Pros: I own this beauty since 2 months and close to 1st service. Some positives 1. drives like a car even in congested traffic. 2. Steering feedback excellent 3. Seating position gives good command on road 4. Suspension flattens potholes with ease 5. Infotainment is good ( minus speakers)
- Cons: AMT lags in 1st and 2 nd gear shift is obvious and b irritating at times. Suddenly changing from N to Auto u get some warning on dashboard and u need to apply and release the brake to move the warning sign and move the vehicle which is stupid. Vehicle sometimes does not start after switching engine off in long signals. Yet to get into service centre and detail these issues. The reverse camera takes few second to ON in R gear and then OFF in drive mode. Speakers r at best average for the price Don't like tugged controls behind steering Back doors does not shut with confidence like front ones. NVH levels higher to my liking. Cost cutting obvious in many places
I probably won't advice u to buy any AMT and duster for the price bracket with so many issues which will put u down as owner and avoid Diesel engines. I would try alternatives like CRETA petrol Auto etc.. I have driven many automatics abroad to know how it should feel.
