Aman (Guest)'s review on Renault Fluence Diesel E2
Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : NA
- Pros: exteriors
- Cons: interiors
Renault has essentially done is graft their face onto the Fluence. The car comes with new projectors headlamps that are sharper and longer. The sides come with thick cladding on the doors and are now body coloured which looks far nicer than the old black coloured units. The interior gets a few tweaks with a new soft feel finish for the dash and a new metal finish that replaces the old faux wood trim. With Streering mounted audio dials that is backed with new 8 speaker sound system that produces good sound quality for the segment. Besides that you get the usual raft of features like cruise control, dual climate control, rear ac vents and more. Fluence is powered by 1.5-litre diesel engine giving 110PS/240Nm. There's a lag upto about 2000rpm before the engine pulls strongly. Positively, the engine is efficient (Renault claims 20.4kmpl) and gear throws are short and precise.
