At present Renault Lodgy is available only in diesel version engine connected to manual transmission in the drive system. There are no plans from Renault of launching automatic transmission version of the same. Its very smooth to drive and gear changing is also made very easy too. A smooth push of the gear lever is good enough to move on to higher or lower gears. While selecting reverse gear a slight extra push in the corner is essential to avoid accidental shifting to reverse mode and that is also taken care. Worth taking a test drive.

Should I change my Maruti Ertiga ZDi and get a Renault Lodgy RXZ? How are the after sale services of Renault in Pune? Also, I have heard that the spare parts aren't readily available here. Is that so?

The front seats of Renault Lodgy Stepway move sightly (by a few mm), especially during braking. But the service centre in Bangalore says it is "normal play" in Lodgy seats. Never heard of such a weird thing in 35 years of motoring. Is this true, or is the service station fooling me?!
