Shall I go for the 2015 model Scala. Is the car affected with flood?

1. As far as the model year is concerned, you should not worry about it. All manufacturers check that the car go through PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) at dealer and the manufacturer's end. So flood should not be a reason to worry.
2, 3 & 4. Mileage of 1500 in a month is not too much, it would be better to stick with petrol. There are no drawbacks with the diesel since the maintainance prices of both would be more or less the same provided nothing happens inadvertently and you maintain the car according to the schedule. The only catch would be that you may never recover the extra cost of the diesel that you payed for (which people purchase for better efficiency and lower price of fuel) since you would not be driving that much.
5. Renault is although improving in terms of service, primarily due to Kwid and Duster, but don't expect it to be as good as Honda or Hyundai.
6. The music system of the Scala is just okay, nothing great. Hate the display, it's too basic.
7.I like the Ciaz better and features too are better with the Ciaz, however the Scala is defintely feels bigger.
