An exceptional car with luxurious features

Overall rating: 4 Reviewed By: Tanisha Mishra on 06 August 2015
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is the later version of the original Ghost model. It seems the company has launched this model looking at the success of the Ghost model by improvising on the previous version of the car. This one is an exceptionally marvellous car beyond comparison. I own it since past two...  Read More »

Not worth buying

Overall rating: 4.75 Reviewed By: Veenu Kashyap on 29 November 2015
I think buying a Phantom Coupe would be a better option because according to me I did not like the interiors of the car. The price that it has set for the buyers is not worth it. Its overall look is okay but when we compare this series with the phantom series I found phantom series better.  Read More »

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Overview

If you desire luxury and a spirited driving experience in the same ultra-pricey car, then Rolls Royce Ghost Series II is meant for you. BMW's Goodwood-based subsidiary took its sweet time to bring an updated version of Ghost into series production. Rolls Royce consider India as a key market." In order to meet the customer's demand for the best in dynamism, modern luxury and industry leading technology, we are proud to launch the new Ghost Series II", said Sven J Ritter, Rolls Royce Asia-Pacific general manager.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Exterior

The new Rolls Royce features a fine redesign of the original Ghost. The front LED headlights with beautiful day time running lights is the main eye catching feature. The front is slightly raised and various visual tricks are applied to make it look wider than Series I. This includes the new design of the indicators and larger front air intakes. The redesigned Series II looks closer to the Phantom when talking about the visual presence on the road. Further design elements are a new waft line along the side of the car that leans further forward and creates a stronger dynamic when viewed from the side. Though the rear of the car is unchanged. It also comes with 21 inch five spoke wheels.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Interior

On first look, there is slight change in the interior. But if you look further you find the changes under the skin. The key changes are completely new seats and an updated infotainment system with the Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller. The new seats went through countless small redesigns to find the most comfortable setup possible. . Both the front and rear seats can be adjusted in multiple ways. In the front the thigh support is adjustable electronically. The new seats can also be equipped with seat cooling feature. However a massage feature is not available in the new Ghost Series II.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Engine & Transmission

The 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series 2 comes with the same 6.6-litre V12 engine as its predecessor. It produces 570 bhp and 780 Nm of torque available from as low as 1500 rpm. The car weighs 2,490 kgs, the Extended Wheel Base, which is 17 cm longer, weighs 80 kgs more and puts 2,570 kg on the scales. Despite the sheer weight, Ghost Series II sprints from 0-100 kmph in 5.0 seconds. The top speed for the Ghost is limited to 250 kmph.
