Are we seeing a new Indica or the Tata Bolt really has got something new?

Yes the Tata Bolt is built on the same X1 platform which was used for indica and the silhouettes are also similar but bolt has been produced with entirely new strategies and commitment to revamp the carmaker’s brand image. Bolt’s front fascia has got revised headlamps with projectors with a new grille in between and a revamped bumper below, the rear gets devoid of Christmas tree lamps but includes high and low stop lamps and chrome linings. Inside, there is a combination of black and white, premium plastics, all new gauges, and a GPS system which could be synced to your smartphone. On the safety end it has got, two airbags and ABS with EBDs. It still offers oodles of space like the Indica but is an entirely different breed.
The interiors of the new Tata Bolt interiors look really good and give a luxurious feel too though the exterior looks of the car seem to be very lousy. It has been priced slightly higher than that of the Vista Tech and therefore effectively killing demand for the new vehicle. Ideally, it is a replacement of the Indica and Vista and should be priced the same as Indica. By pricing it higher than Vista Tech demand will shift to competitors. Tata Motors USP should be price and features since it lacks reputation of good design, quality and service. Tata Motors should play to its strengths.
