How or in what ways its different from vista indica ?

Hello Sunderarajan !!
Tata Bolt feature the same engine as in earlier versions. However there is considerable improvement in the same with inclusion of lot of upgraded features.Among the new set of features, multi drive selector is the prominent feature. Here the driver can select between Sport, Eco, City modes. Sports mode delivers maximum power as expected for high speed driving, Eco mode has blending of speed and fuel economy and City mode has perfect balance of power and mileage that are needed for high density traffic conditions assuring hassle free driving. Right from body design features to performance of engine there is improvement from earlier version.
While Tata Both has a 1.2 liter engine, Vista Indica comprises of a 1.5L with a size of 1405cc. While the maximum power of Vista Indica is 70 @ 4500, that of Bolt is 89 @ 5000. The maximum torque speed of Bolt is 140 @ 1500-4000, and that of Indica is 135 @ 2500. Bolt Revotron runs on petrol and MPFi fuel supply system. Whereas, Indica is diesel powered, and has MPFI fuel supply system. The dimension of Bolt is slightly bigger and has a specification of 3825 mm length x 1695 mm width x 1562 mm height. On the other hand, Vista has 3795 mm length x 1695 mm width x 1550 mm height. However, while the boot space of Vista is greater has a specification of 232 liters, that of Bolt is 210 liters. Again, while Vista comes with rear wheel caps, they are absent in Bolt.
According to me, Bolt is Tata’s fight back product and has spent lot of time and effort to re-engineer it thoroughly whereas Indica Vista is not a flexible architecture. What I observed, there is a reflection of Vista in Bolt. Both the cars share the same glasshouse without any change. There is a difference in their engine. Indica Vista has five speed manual gearboxes and Tata Bolt has turbocharged multi fuel injection engine which gives multi drive options.
Well I also believe that Bolt and Vista are inseparable in looks but design philosophies are different. Some changes like modified bumpers, rear seat arrangement, fog lamps etc makes it a much more complete product. These upgraded features in Bolt gives me an option to select from city, sports and Eco modes. This perfect balance of power and efficiency was missing in Indica Vista and that’s why the version is improvised.
Tata bolt is based on Vista’s platform but the company has redesigned Bolt to give it a premium eye-catchy look as well as utmost comfort for the passengers. Both the Tata products features same 1.3 litre 16V Quadrajet Engine and claims almost same mileage as Vista that is around 19 kmpl. As Vista is more roughly designed hatchback, the interior space and cargo volume is more than Bolt. On the other hand, Bolt is loaded with best in-class interior features like automatic climate control, 60:40 split rear seats, alloy wheels, height adjustable driver seat that Vista lacks.
