DS's review on Tata Hexa XTA AT
Year of Manufacture : 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 100
- Pros: INDIAN, Space, Road Presence,Value for Money.
- Cons: Negative talk about TATA after sales service, which I feel is entirely personality based.
I have driven this SUV and I have liked the way it is. I always wanted to buy TATA Safari due to its sheer looks, road presence and Indianness. I have waited for the HEXA and would prefer to buy it over Safari Storme only because its a new product. Hexa is a very good combination of SUV and MPV and it has road presence, is loaded with safety features, Varicor 400 Engine is a proven one and the power and torque are awesome. The space is beffitting an SUV. I dont understand why do people look for comfort and Mileage in an SUV. An SUV has to be a rugged vehicle and the basic concept of SUV is that of a Mini Truck. The TATA concept of ruggedness and reliablility on long runs is well known. The Hexa is packed with all the features available with its rivals. The nineteen inch alloy wheels, longer wheel Base and larger wheel track provides the vehicle more stability on highways. The safety features are all there. The vehicle has chasis on frame and is not a monoqoque, which essentially makes it durable for offroading or rough use. The hill drive assist features are an added bonus. I test drove the vehicle in a rugged area and it gave a great experiance. The spare parts are going to be cheaper than the Fortuner and Endevour. Iam strongly in favour of buying Indian Products.
