Alok Chakravarty's review on Tata Hexa XM
Year of Manufacture : 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 7800
- Pros: I had driven an Innova for 8 years and found the Innova to be the only choice for a replacement....... till I took a test drive of the Hexa that too immediately after testing a Crysta. It was love at first try. This car has power . Macho feeling, looks, safety features, and a host of other features, the sound system is fab, daughter loves it.
- Cons: The sales team of Tata motors ( Showroom guys) are not upto the mark. They should walk up to a Toyota, or Honda showroom to know what I mean. I literally had to call a salesperson to tell me about the car. I bought mine not from Concorde but from Gurudev Motors and am getting top class service.
I have used the car for long drives I.e 400 km drives on highways, and generally in the city, I get a mileage of 11.5 kmpl in the city and 13.5 on highways. Tata motors should have marketed this car as TOYOTA did with their Lexus. When Toyota was identified as a cheap car manufacturer they created the Lexus brand and distanced The brand Toyota away from it. As Tata has distanced themselves from JLR they should have done the same with the Hexa. There are scores of mid luxury buyers who inspite of liking the car are sceptical to be owning a Car having the Tata logo..
