Tata Indigo was the first entrant of the sub four metre sedan segment in India. It laid the basic foundation on which we are seeing so many cars coming out from swift dzire to honda amaze, mahindra verito, chevrolet sail, xcent and many more. The indigo eCS comes in both diesel and petrol variant and we here will be talking about the diesel variant which has a turbo TDI 1.4L engine producing 70bhp and 140Nm of power and torque respectively which is good for both in smooth city and rides and thrilling overtakes on the highways. The car gives a mileage of around 23kmpl. It is equipped with all the basic features like ABS, alloy wheels, and a decent infotainment system. Compliant with BSIV guidelines, it has ample space in the rear compartment for three adult passengers which gives it a nice advantage over its rivals. The mileage, features and performance and all that on a low cost is what makes this car worth buying.
