Hello Gautam !!

We would suggest you to get your car checked at a Tata sevice station near you, the service personel will be able to advise you and have the fault fixed. Chances are that the problem lies with the wire harness of your car.

Thanks

Tata Indigo ecs is one of the popular low cost sedan based on indica plateform. Looking at the design front, Tata has done complete justice to it keeping the low budget. The exterior chasis looks nice with diamond chrome grill, smoked headlamps, fog lamps, rear fog lamps and body color bumper. In the highest variant, you will get multispoke alloy wheels with silver color wheel caps. Also, in higher trips there are body colored door handles, body colored internal adjustable ORVMs.

If the rpm goes down and you are seeing headlight of radiator fan starting there must be a fault in electrical of your vehicle. Please get a casual check of wiring at Tata service centre or any other local mechanical shop. The rpm issue might be a engine turbo issue so you should contact with Tata service station only as you will not get a local mechanic correcting the engine issue

I am agreeing with the above resolution you should get in touch of service station ASAP. That might be a clutch issue or engine turbo issue that should be taken care of in time. We should not let the local mechanical shops touch the engine at all. The new engines in almost every car is electronically checked and set so it may cause some serious issues to the engine.

Guys I agree with all of you but I know this problem, this is related to alternator. Please get your alternator checked as the stator of your alternator has been burnt. The total cost involved in this repaid will be like 2200 to 2500 depends on the place you get it checked. Then your problem will be resolved 100%. Don’t do any stupid actions just get it checked; your problem will be resolved 100%.
